The Scotland Effect

The Scotland Effect is a series of papers addressing the important issues related to constitutional options in the United Kingdom between different forms of Union, federalism and independence for the nations of the Isles.

The series is called the Scotland Effect because the Scottish Executive has been more proactive in advancing its "National Conversation" on this topic than those concerned with constitutional issues at either the British or the European levels.

The papers do not represent any specific political position but review the essential considerations needed for populations to take rational decisions on such important matters. This series is produced by the British Strategic Review.
